Cashew Mayonnaise

Cashew mayonaise is absolutely delicious - But it is energy dense so only use occasionally. Cashews are high in the amino acid L-Tryptophan which is one of the essential amino acids you need to live.  Tryptophan is made into serotonin by your body and it is responsible for feelings of well being and can greatly assist people who suffer with depression and migraine .

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 2 tblsp savory yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp diet herbamare salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 level tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup oat milk (depends if you want it thick or thin)

Method:

  • Soak cashews in water for 2 hours, drain.  Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 1 minute, scraping down the sides and adding more almond milk or water as needed.  Store in the fridge for up to 6 days.
